In celebration of Ram Navami at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple, the ‘Overseas Friends of Ram Mandir’ US took a sweet initiative by distributing over 101 kg of ‘Raghupati Laddoos’ globally. These laddoos, sourced directly from Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir, were shared with devotees around the world as ‘prasad’.
Prem Bhandari, the founder of OFRM (US), expressed, “Of the total, 101 kg of these special Indian sweets were distributed among devotees of Lord Ram and Hanuman in countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, Canada, and UAE.”
During his visit to the temple, Bhandari, accompanied by former Indian Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla, personally sourced the ingredients for these laddoos. Champat Rai, a key figure in the realization of the Ayodhya Ram temple, lauded Bhandari’s efforts in spreading Sanatan Dharma, despite residing in America.
Reflecting on his visit to the historic Ram temple, Bhandari shared, “After visiting the temple, I had the idea to bring back laddoos to the United States and further distribute them to devotees across the world.”
Bhandari further informed, “More than 100 boxes have been dispatched, with some distributed in person in New York.” Additionally, during the Rajasthan Association of North America RANA’s annual Holi sneh Milan function, over 400 people were delighted to receive Ayodhya Prasadam.
This gesture exemplifies the spirit of community and devotion transcending borders, spreading the essence of Ram Navami worldwide.
